IN, AT, ON for PLACES

In [in] - viduje - naudojama, kai kalbama apie vidų (inside), pabrėžiama, kad esama viduje, kai kalbame apie ribas, sienas turiančias erdves:
tarp, viduje - in my heart (mano širdyje), in the pocket (kišenėje)
su visais kambariais - in the room, in the kitchen, in the hall, in the basement (rūsyje), in the attic (palėpėje), in the lift (lifte)
su pastatų vidumi - in a pub, in a cafe, in an office, in a shop
su visais miestais ir visomis šalimis - in the city, in the town, in the village, in the country (kaime)
su visomis erdvėmis, kurios turi ribas, sienas - in a garden, in a park, in a car park; in the wood (miške), in the desert... I stand in the street (aš stoviu gatvėje lauke)
su nuosavomis mašinomis ar taksi - in a car, in a taxi
su darbovietėmis, kuriose dirbate (gali būti pakeistas į 'for') - I work in/for a company, in/for Nord bank, I work in a restaurant, I work in Pasvalys Swimming Pool (Jei pavartosite in+įstaigos ar pastato pavadinimas, greičiausiai būsite suprastas, kad ten dirbate )
sėdint kalėjime ar gulint ligoninėje - in (the) prison, in (the) hospital ,
su spauda - It is in the book! (Tai yra knygoje)..., in the newspaper... you can see me in this photo (galite matyti mane šioje foto)

At [ea:t] - 'prie' arba 'toje vietoje' - naudojama vietai, taškui erdvėje nurodyti
prie - at the computer, at the desk, at the door
su savo tiksliu-pilnu adresu: I live at Rutu Street House Three, Flat Thirty Two
su pastatų ar įstaigų pavadinimais - at the Parliament, at the Lithuanian Embassy , at the hairdresser's (shop), at my doctor's (office),
vietai nurodyti -at the top (viršuje), at the bottom (apačioje) at the bus stop, at the end of the street, at the door (prie durų)
su renginiais, įvairiomis laisvalaikio vietomis, kai norite pasakyti, kuo užsiimate, o ne kad tos patalpos viduje esate - at the exhibition, at the concert, I'm at the gym (sportuoju), I'm at the cinema (žiūriu filmą kine), I'm at the shops (apsipirkinėju); I'm at the hospital (lankausi ligoninėje)

On [on] - ant:
su paviršiais - on the roof (ant stogo), on the chair
su pakrantėmis - on the shore (ant kranto), on the coast; Lithuania is on the Baltic Sea shore. Vilnius is on the river Neris;
pliaže - on the beach
su visais ekranais, o taip pat ir elektriniais komunikaciniais prietaisais- on the screen (ekrane), on the computer (jei jis ardomas - in), on the phone, on the radio, on TV
su puslapiais - on the page
su viešuoju transportu ir su laivais - on the boat, on the ship, on the bus, on the plane, on the metro, on the train
kelyje, kryžkelėje - on the road, on the motorway, on the crossroad, on the street (dažnai kai nurodomas adresas - I go to Maxima on Avizonis street, I live on Rutu street)
su aukštais - I live on the third floor (aš gyvenu trečiame aukšte)
kairėje, dešinėje - on the left, on the right
