Yes, this guy worked at the harbour. The Jewish woman he loved was sent to a concentration camp. He himself went to prison for the betrayal of his race. Their two little daughters were sent to an orphanage. After the prison August went to the war and died in Croatia.

This is a plate made to mark the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The plate is inside the Westminster Abbey (a cathedral in London) where the couple married. There's a picture of the abbey on the plate. There is the photo of the couple too. This photo was taken when they declared about their engagement to the large public

You are right about the country - it's in England. The construction is called 'a pier' [pie ] (in Lithuanian we say 'tiltas į jūrą'). This pier is in the town of Brighton [braiton] and it is about six hundred metres long. There is an amusement park [amiu: zment pa:/r/k] =linksmybių, atrakcionų parkas), a theatre, shops and restaurants on this pier. It is a lot of fun to be there!
