The text of the audio:
In the story, the young woman moved from the United Kingdom to Greece. She did it because of her family problems. Her husband who was a teacher at University left her for a younger woman - his student. She was very unhappy and wanted a change in her life. She moved out of London to Athens and found a job at Athens University. She worked hard and didn’t have much time to rest. At day she thought students, and in her free time she learnt Greek and wrote a book. She felt ill and went to see the doctor. The doctor told her to take a holiday.
The woman had a boss, a very friendly Greek archeologist. The boss had a cottage on a small island in the Mediterranean. He told her to go there for her holiday and rest. On the island the woman made friends with a woman called Eleni and her husband called Yiannis. Eleni owned a taverna and her husband was a fisherman and owned a boat. Once Yiannis told the archeologist that there were underwater caves on the island and he knew were to find gold. The archeologist also read that there were old gold mines on the island but no one used them now. She joked with Yiannis that gold is dangerous and bad people could kill for it. The next day Yiannis' boat was set on fire in the harbour and Yiannis died in the fire. The police said that Yiannis was drunk and fell asleep on the boat, maybe he started the fire himself. But other fishermen said that Yiannis never drank alcohol and took good care of his boat.
