Išmokome veiksmažodį to be (būti) - kaip paklausti, kaip pasakyti neigiamai....
Visi kiti veiksmažodžiai yra atskira grupė. Jų vartojimo taisyklės yra trys:
1:
Trečiame vns. asmenyje (he, she, it - jis, ji, tai) visada gale pridedame -s :
I, You, We, They speak - He, She, It speaks (Aš, Tu=Jūs, Mes, Jie kalba - Jis, ji, tai kalba)
I, You, We, They like - He, She, It likes
2.
Klausime pridedame Do [diu] :
I love Christmas! - Do I love Christmas?
Aš labai mėgstu Kalėdas! - Ar aš mėgstu Kalėdas?
You eat a lot at Christmas! - Do you eat a lot at Christmas?
Tu valgai daug per Kalėdas - Ar tu daug valgai per Kalėdas?
Klausiamieji žodeliai Ką? Kur? Kodėl? ir pan.... dedami priekyje - prieš do
I want to drink -What do you want to drink?
Aš noriu gerti - Ko tu nori gerti?
I like holidays! - Why do you like holidays?
Man patinka šventės - Kodėl tau patinka šventės?
3.
Neigiant naudojame don't [dont] . Don't eina po veiksnio (t.y. asmens):
I like turkey, but I don't like sweets.
Aš mėgstu kalakutieną, bet nemėgstu saldainių
We love presents! We don't love to shop
Mums labai patinka dovanos - Mums labai nepatinka apsipirkinėti.
Mandagus atsakymas : Yes, I do - No, I don't
Do you want tea? Yes, I do.
Ar nori arbatos? Taip.
Do you want to carol? No, I don't.
Ar nori pagiedoti giesmių? Ne.
What do the Lithuanians like doing at Christmas?Christmas is on December 25th. It’s my favourite time of year.
We decorate our Christmas tree with baubles, tinsel and lights. Then we put a star or fairy on top. We put
our presents under the tree. We send Christmas cards and sing Christmas carols at school or church.
Some people go carol singing and get some money.
We wish you a merry Christmas,
We wish you a merry Christmas,
We wish you a merry Christmas
and a happy New Year!
Children wait for Santa Claus to bring them presents. Many leave food for him to eat when he visits. For Christmas dinner we eat turkey and then Christmas cake. My favourite part is pulling the crackers!
